I have always been into art mainly because of my dad’s love for music and painting. From a very young age I was influenced to appreciate both the Western and Eastern love of art (plus my whole family did art). My interest in art grew from there and since then I did art for HSC and loved listening and creating art in all forms (dancing, singing, origami, etching, lino prints etc). Doing paper cutting as my art form for HSC Visual Arts, I grew a fond liking of contemporary art and hence the artist Ai Wei Wei greatly inspired me. To me, art is not only viewed in museums but also takes shape in both dance and music. Every holiday I always have trouble trying to find things to do with friends so I’ve tried a whole bunch of activities during holidays this year. If you’re the adventurous type like me then you’ll really enjoy the bushwalk at Bobbin Head. It’s a nice 10km walk (kinda tiring) that took us 3 hours – 4 hours (without getting lost haha). My friends and I usually love karaoke and playing near the arcade at Market City but if you’re not willing to spend as much I suggest the art museum! I’m usually the type to stick to the city and walk around but it’s always fun to plan an activity for the day to explore Sydney! Zip lining Karaoke (Dynasty, CEO, K2, Lantern by Wagaya, Mizuya) Bowling at Strike Talking a walk through Darling Harbour Going for a bushwalk at Bobbin Head Arcade in City (market city), Chatswood or Macquarie Go to the beach and have brunch Visit the Art Gallery of NSW or the museum of Contemporary Arts etc. Ice Skating (Macquarie Ice Rink)

I’ve been always into TV shows aside from my YouTube obsession especially comedies. I love a good laugh and one TV show series that never fails to make me laugh is Parks and Recreations. It is so random but has a really good script written by Amy Poehler and Tina Fey. I recently gotten into Korean Dramas and one that I 100% recommend is Goblin. It tugs all your heart strings and fall in love with all the characters! Shout out to my first blog- this one’s based on my favourite go-to foods of ALL time. I’ve always loved eating all types of tasty food and love trying new things but there’s always the same dishes that never fail to deliver their goodness. I grew up eating a lot of Chinese food specifically Cantonese and Shanghainese (as I’m half half) and always wished to try new cuisines. As I grew older, I would eat out with friends and try all types of food but there are some that never fulfil that comfort feeling except for these foods: Pizza Xiaolongbao HSP (Halal Snack Pack) Ice Cream! Baking was a gradual hobby I came across during high school where I did my food technology class (like a cooking class). There was an assignment where we had to cook or bake something for a guest we invite at the end of term. Mind you I’ve never really baked but I really liked eating homemade baked goods but at first was so terrible at baking anything.  So I chose to do a simple banana chocolate chip muffin for my guest (my mum) and tried heaps of recipes that didn’t include a lot of sugar or butter. Finally came across the recipe (linked) that now is my go-to recipe when I have guests over at home or feel like a snack because it’s so simple and yummy! YouTube has been a huge part of my life (and got be through the HSC)! It’s the one thing that I would be forever addicted to because it provides a range of genre’s that suits everybody’s taste. I’ve watched YouTube for years now so I would watch a lot of random videos (like we all did the whole random animal videos) but I’ve suggested the 10 that really stuck with me through all this time. Being a Sydney gal, I’ve been exploring around town for some time now. I normally spend weekends exploring places or chilling with friends. The go-to places for me are cafés specifically in Newtown and Surry hills because they serve the best brunches (aside from the prices :/).  The number one chill spot I’d say would be Tea Journal in Chatswood! It has the best tea and cakes there and is an overall d&m/study spot for both the teens and adults (pretty cakes for da gram and snapchat too). 100% recommend the list below (not in order) for both the adventurous  and relaxing spots in Sydney. Every time I hang out with friends at a party or go for sleepovers, the one thing we always do is play games. It’s a great way to initiate conversations and get to know one another plus it adds to the fun. One of my favourites is Mafia where players have secret roles affiliated with teams: civilians and mafia (additional roles include the nurse and cop). The main goal of the game is to eliminate suspects until one group outnumbers the other and wins. All the games I’ve chosen is all based on both classic games and games that I've tried out at gatherings (some include punishments such as drinking). Check them out! oh my god i just watched IT and it definitely tops the list of my top 10. not only does it provide a newer perception of horror, theres also unique comedy horror AND bloody scenes which I had never anticipated. just wow. 10/10 must watch. i give it my top spot now. No doubt we've been watching heaaaaaps of movies in the holidays but I definitely best believe star wars tops the list. Not only does it have the best character and universe build up but it's story line is exquisite. Would defs recommend. Though, lord of the rings and harry pot isn't far behind ! We'll keep you updated !!
